Downtown Denver

Yesterday we spent most of the day checking out downtown Denver.  We've been downtown a few times but didn't really take the time to explore.  I got a shot of the capital building, Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies baseball team, and a shot of some buildings downtown.
Also we read an article about this guy named Johnny Cupcakes in a local paper.  He sounded interesting and so we went online to his website, and read all about him.  He's pretty awesome!  He's our age, and he started his own t-shirt design business which has really taken off simply by word of mouth!  He's on tour right now going across the US with some of his buddies that work for him.  They've traveled to Denver last night to a really awesome cupcake bakery.  We got there around 3:30 pm to wait in line.  We were about number 15 and 16 in line when we got there.  At 8:30 pm when Johnny got there the line was around the block!  They set up there t-shirts for sale in the bakery, and they let people from the line in so many at a time to meet Johnny and his crew, and grab a t-shirt.  We didn't get a picture with Johnny, but we did get one in front of their tour van.  We've really been inspired by him and his story.  If you'd like to find out more about him go to his website www.johnnycupcakes.com.
