Boy was today a long day! We used our leftover firewood this morning to make a fire to cook breakfast. I made pancakes in my cast iron skillet. They turned out pretty good. Then we packed up to move and left Jellystone Park, and headed out for Indiana. We drove, and drove, and drove so more. It was bright and sunny and hot! We drove about 8 hours today, about 3 hundred miles. Most of Ohio that's not a good-sized town, is mostly farm land. Fields and fields of farms. Mostly corn and soy beans from what I could tell. The land was all really flat, and I mean flat. You could see for miles. Also we found out that Ohio is the "birthplace of aviation". We got to Indiana about 5:00 pm. What we drove through so far is about the same as Ohio. Lots of farm land, with more trees. We were tired and exhausted and sweaty, from driving all day. We pulled into our first Wal-mart to stay the night. It's going pretty good so far. We're right next to the highway, and the Wal-mart is 24 hours so hopefully we can get some sleep. It's cooling down a little at least. A few hours ago, it was cooler outside the camper in the parking lot then inside! It was 105 degrees! We decided to walk into the Wal-mart to cool off in the air conditioning. It worked and we wound up spending $68. We got popsicles and came back to the camper. Then we got a short but extremely refreshing shower! Well were getting ready for bed. We're hoping to get to Chicago by tomorrow night. We'll see.
