A beautiful day today! No wild windy hail storms today! We got to sleep in some today. I made pancakes for breakfast, and then we headed out to check out downtown Missoula. What a rad little town. Lots of cool little shops, really nice people, and good food. We went to a few of the shops: skate and snowboard shop, record store, earth friendly baby store, an awesome little laid back artistic cafe for lunch, (so good!), and a thrift shop, and an organic supermarket! Those organic markets are like gems to me! The produce looked great and it was really reasonably priced. I guess maybe because the produce didn't have to travel very far since most of it was locally grown! Yeah! We were gone a good bit of the day, so we didn't get to relax as much as we wanted to. When we got back I went and did our laundry. They had a laundry room right here at the campground which is awesome! A lot cheaper too. I made dinner and then we went over for some more huckleberry ice cream. Man that stuff is awesome! We're ready to watch a movie. We'll be heading out tomorrow around 12:00pm, going up to Whitefish which is right outside Glacier. Hope you all have a great 4th of July full of food, family and friends!

Beautiful day indeed! I see that moon getting bigger. Full on Tuesday! Jack is looking no worse for wear (I keep wanting to call the camper Jill..:)Hard to believe it's only about 2 weeks since you left Jewel's with all you've done and shared. Great to hear about Missoula. You guys are definitely in the flow finding the coolest places around. Send me some ice cream! Speaking of that...can I mail something to that town??? Happy 4th to you too. You see some Big Sky Country fireworks? Maybe just a shooting star or two ~~~* xo
ReplyDeleteHey Guys! I can't wait to get out to the Big Sky Country...Not packed yet (don't tell Kevin!). We'll be staying at the Isaak Walton Inn near Goatlick July 7, then up to St. Mary July 8-17. The tour starts on the morning of the 12th. How is cell reception out there? We both have Verizon - hopefully it will be easy to catch up with y'all. I want to ride in Jack! I hear Whitefish is awesome - you'll have to tell me what you think. I've been basking in the light of the waxing moon myself...Looking forward to some famous huckleberry ice cream. Are the berries in season now?
ReplyDeleteTake Care. Soon to join you...
