Yeah! I'm finally caught up on my posts! Hurray! Anyway, today we didn't do too much exciting stuff. We slept in a bit. Got up around 9-9:30, ate breakfast, just kind of hung out in the camper a while. It's kind of funny when I thought about the fact that we're in our home, in the parking lot of Wal-Mart, doing whatever, eating breakfast, or just hanging, or posting on the blog, and other people are just coming here to shop at Wal-mart! I got a laugh about that! I'm also surprised how many others are doing the same thing as us! We finally left the parking lot around 2:00PM. he he! We drove about 200 miles today, equaling about 4-5 hours. The best way to describe Montana so far is that the landscape is vast, and huge, with rolling hills, open grassy fields, and home to not much but cows and horses who seem to roam peacefully across acres and acres of land! Oh yeah, did I mention the great Rocky Mountains in the distance! Gus was practically jumping out of his seat with excitement at the thought of our upcoming 180 days of possible snowboarding Colorado!

ReplyDeleteAhhhh, yes....Big Sky Country. Didn't think it could have a 'bigger' sky than other places but it really does! And here come the mountains... today, tomorrow, the next day...just gettin closer and closer. YEA!
So you gotta hit some hot springs! Check them out. Some are so sweet and low key with good food and even live music...others have like giant waterslides and stuff. Something for everybody and every mood. If you spend any days around Bozeman let me know...I can direct you to a couple cool ones. Enjoy! I know you are....xo
