The second picture shows the other island in the lake called Phantom Ship. The lake gets snow 9 months out of the year with an average annual snow fall of 44 feet! The bottom picture shows what that might look like if you come in the winter. They plow some of the roads. The record for snow fall there is 70 feet!
We are a happily married couple since January 26th, 2002. We've had this dream now of living in an RV and traveling the US of A in search of new sites and experiences. Also we didn't want to have a job or obligation making us come back from our vacation! So we worked a lot, and saved some money for the past 6 years. Then we bought an RV moved out of the place we were living, and moved into the driveway at Gus' parents house. It's been a good 5 months in the driveway. Five months? Wow I didn't realize it's been that long till now! We're ready to leave and wanted to have this blog to keep everyone up to date on our adventure! We love Shorty's!
That water is so blue it almost doesn't look REAL. Neither does that snow! CRAZY!!! They must have some big-ass snow plows!!!
